Kairos

Flute with Piano (Level: Advanced)

The ancient Greeks had two works for time: chronos and kairos. While chronos refers to chronological, progressive time, kairos refers to a supreme moment: a moment that is right or opportune. Kairos has enjoyed varied use throughout history, having great theological significance (especially within the rise of Christianity). The ancient Greek god Kairos was the god of the fleeting moment, of opportunities.
