A short fanfare for concert band, I wrote Intrada to open the concert band portion of a composition recital I put on while studying at the University of Central Arkansas. This music is absolute (meaning that it is not programmatic)--it's just a fun way to open a concert!
Intrada was first performed by the Conway Wind Symphony in 2009, with Meghan Langley conducting.
