Winter Night (Saxophone Ensemble)

Winter Night doesn't follow a strict programme in any real sense; more that it evokes the feeling of a cold winter evening. Winter is my favourite season and I've always been a bit of a night owl--I love the quiet, the peace, the solitude. It's the time I use to recharge. During the winter, especially after a good snowfall, there's a closeness and peace to the air that is almost palpable. This piece captures that feeling for me.
